Experience the very special magic of Chamber Music at Doddington during our summer concert series curated by Artistic Director Graham Oppenheimer. Explore our romantic gardens, have a glass of prosecco on the private terrace and then listen to wonderful music from the Arcus Quartet in the beauty of the Long Gallery. Sunday 20 August – Arcus Quartet Dvorak String Quintet in E flat major, Op 97 Schubert Quartet in D minor ‘Death & the Maiden’ The Arcus Quartet formed in 2016 whilst studying at the Royal College of Music, London. Since then the Quartet have participated in masterclasses with Pavel Fischer, the Carducci Quartet and the Castalian Quartet, as well as taking part in the National Young String Quartet Weekend 2017 where they worked with several of the leading quartet professors such as Christoph Richter and Jan Talich. In March 2017 they made their Wigmore Hall debut with their performance of Schubert’s Death and the Maiden, which we are delighted that they will play for us today Price includes: Concert | Access to Hall & Gardens & Glass of prosecco on the private terrace: £24 (£12 for accompanied under 16s) £26 premium reserved seats (£13 for under 16s) Reserved seating: a reserved seat in the first 3 rows.
